We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Service Team Leader at their prestigious dealership near Heathrow. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated automotive professional to lead a high-performing service department within a renowned prestige car dealership.

Duties of the Service Team Leader:

  • Lead and motivate the Service Advisor team to deliver outstanding customer service and achieve operational success
  • Model professionalism, customer care, and operational excellence
  • Support the effective operation of the service department by managing workloads and processes
  • Assist the Workshop Controller and Service Manager in their absence
  • Coach, guide, and develop team members to maximise performance and job satisfaction
  • Handle customer queries professionally, resolve escalated concerns, and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Monitor and improve service processes to meet KPIs and customer expectations
  • Maintain clear communication between customers, technicians, and management
  • Manage workshop loading, book appointments, and ensure scheduling aligns with capacity
  • Produce accurate job cards, estimates, invoices, and warranty documentation
  • Identify additional sales opportunities through effective product explanations and onboardings

Requirements of the Service Team Leader:

  • Proven experience as a Service Advisor or similar within the automotive industry
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and motivate teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for team collaboration and customer relationships
  • Track record of delivering high levels of customer satisfaction and operational targets
  • Good organisational skills to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of workshop processes, KPIs, and automotive service procedures
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem solving and decision making
  • Demonstrates professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service
