We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in supporting children with additional needs and a flexible, proactive approach to learning.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Experience working with children in an educational setting
- Good numeracy and literacy skills (GCSE Grade 5/C or above, or equivalent)
- Experience or a strong interest in working with children with special educational needs
- A flexible and creative approach to supporting learning
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children, colleagues, and parents
- A calm, positive, and patient manner
- Ability to work constructively and collaboratively as part of a team
- Enthusiastic, adaptable, and committed to ongoing professional development
- Knowledge of strategies and approaches that support children with a range of educational needs (e.g. ASD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, sensory needs)
