About you

Are you a trained Senior Pharmacy Assistant seeking a locum position? Medacs Healthcare has an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Assistant to join our NHS client in Chelsea who has experience in NHS Technical services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Aseptic dispensing of sterile cytotoxic products and other sterile injectables
  • Assembly of aseptic products in preparation for aseptic dispensing (chemotherapy and intravenous medicines)

Essential Qualifications

  • Experienced and highly skilled Pharmacy Assistant (Band 3) with recent relevant BAND 3/4 Technician experience in NHS Technical services
  • Training undertaken within a hospital environment
  • Experience of preparing cytotoxic products
  • Pharmacy labelling and stock control systems
  • Understanding of procurement methods
  • Adherence to and implementation of procedures
  • Full UK right to work
