Duties of an MOT Tester:
- Conduct MOT tests in accordance with VOSA regulations
- Inspect vehicles and assess their condition for safety and compliance
- Complete detailed inspection reports and documentation accurately
- Maintain high standards of safety and ensure adherence to testing procedures
- Assist with general vehicle repairs and servicing as needed
- Work efficiently within the workshop team to ensure timely testing
- Keep up to date with current MOT testing standards and regulations
Requirements of an MOT Tester:
- Proven experience as an MOT Tester, with relevant qualifications preferred
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines
