Duties of a MET Technician:
- Conducting mechanical repairs, suspension work and vehicle assessments to high standards
- Diagnosing and repairing suspension, steering geometry and wheel alignment issues
- Handling plastic repairs, glazing, and air conditioning system evacuations and recharges
- Performing vehicle inspections to identify further damage and ensure quality reassembly in collaboration with repair consultants
- Applying relevant mechanical and suspension qualifications to deliver precise and efficient repairs
- Upholding safety standards and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout every job
Requirements of a MET Technician:
- Proven experience as a MET Technician within the motor trade
- Strong knowledge of vehicle mechanical and suspension repairs
- Relevant mechanical qualifications, ideally ATA MET accreditation
- LCV experience is advantageous
- Familiarity with steering geometry alignment and adjustments
- Experience working with plastic repairs, glazing, and air conditioning recharges
- High attention to detail and a team-oriented approach
