My client is a global financial services organisation currently investing in the optimisation and enhancement of its trading technology estate.
They are seeking an experienced ION Market View SME to join the team on an initial contract engagement.
Your new role
As the ION Market View SME, you will be the go-to expert for the platform, responsible for support, configuration, optimisation and continuous improvement.
You will work closely with both business and technology stakeholders, supporting front-to-back office functions across trading, treasury, market data and operations.
The role will involve production support, troubleshooting critical issues, driving platform enhancements and contributing to upgrades and change initiatives within a complex financial markets environment.
- What you'll need to succeed
- Strong hands-on experience with ION Market View, acting as a subject-matter expert for support, configuration, enhancement and optimisation.
- Proven front-to-back office experience with a strong understanding of trading, treasury, market data and operational workflows.
- Experience within Financial Services, Investment Banking or Capital Markets environments.
- Strong Application & Production Support background supporting business-critical systems.
- Excellent troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
- Experience working closely with business and technology stakeholders to deliver effective solutions.
- Knowledge of market data platforms, trading systems and enterprise integrations.
- Experience supporting platform upgrades, testing, change initiatives and continuous improvement programmes.
- ION Anvil experience is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide guidance and leadership as the SME.
