This is an exciting opportunity for a Junior IBA Payables Technician to join a friendly, collaborative, and fast-growing organisation. As part of the IBA function, you will assist with reconciling ledgers and ensuring payments are processed accurately and on time. Role Accountabilities:

  • Reconciliation of monthly Underwriter (insurer) statements and ledgers.
  • Release of Bureaux Delinked Signing messages.
  • Allocation of payable ledger items.
  • Process and arrange Underwriter payments.
  • Control, monitor and review outstanding payables with prompt resolution of queries.
  • Responsible for resolution and escalation of queries with internal colleagues, including Processing Teams and Claims, as well as external parties such as Underwriters.
  • Complete ad hoc duties as requested by management.
  • Undertake any additional duties as required.

Role Requirements:

  • Some previous experience within an Accounts, Finance, or Insurance Broking Accounts function would be advantageous, although not essential.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
