This is an exciting opportunity for a Junior IBA Payables Technician to join a friendly, collaborative, and fast-growing organisation. As part of the IBA function, you will assist with reconciling ledgers and ensuring payments are processed accurately and on time. You will receive full training and ongoing support from knowledgeable colleagues, providing an excellent foundation for a successful career in insurance finance and operations. Role Accountabilities:
- Reconciliation of monthly Underwriter (insurer) statements and ledgers.
- Release of Bureaux Delinked Signing messages.
- Allocation of payable ledger items.
- Process and arrange Underwriter payments.
- Control, monitor and review outstanding payables with prompt resolution of queries.
- Responsible for resolution and escalation of queries with internal colleagues, including Processing Teams and Claims, as well as external parties such as Underwriters.
- Complete ad hoc duties as requested by management.
- Undertake any additional duties as required.
Role Requirements:
- Some previous experience within an Accounts, Finance, or Insurance Broking Accounts function would be advantageous, although not essential.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
