We are seeking an experienced HSEQ Business Partner to support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of health, safety, environmental, and quality management systems in line with the OneISS Way. Reporting to the HSEQ Manager, this role is pivotal in embedding a strong safety and compliance culture across a diverse portfolio of contracts. We are looking for a proactive HSEQ professional to provide regional support across Hard and Soft FM contracts spanning sectors including Education and Manufacturing. Working closely with operational teams, clients, and regulatory bodies, you will help drive service excellence through effective risk management, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide practical and proactive HSEQ support to operational teams and stakeholders, ensuring safe and compliant ways of working.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with site-level stakeholders across multiple contracts.
- Collaborate with client counterparts to ensure HSEQ processes meet expectations while maintaining internal standards.
- Understand contract risk profiles and proactively identify, assess, and manage hazards.
- Champion HSEQ campaigns, including Safe Spaces and Wellbeing initiatives, to improve engagement and outcomes.
- Facilitate the implementation of HSEQ plans, ensuring compliance and addressing key risk areas.
- Conduct risk assessments, audits, incident investigations, and governance activities to support continual improvement.
- Utilise reporting tools, including Insight, to identify trends, provide guidance, and improve safety performance.
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards and auditing practices.
- Experience of incident investigation and applying proportionate governance.
- Proven ability to identify, assess and manage risk while influencing operational decision-making.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across regions, functions, and teams.
- Previous Facilities Management experience is desirable.
