You will play a vital role in ensuring the efficiency and reliability of low‑carbon heat networks.
Your day‑to‑day remit involves a blend of hands‑on technical maintenance, fault‑finding, and team development:
- Completing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive servicing of Heat Interface Units (HIUs) across various manufacturers.
- Diagnosing complex faults, executing first‑time fixes, and conducting root‑cause analysis to resolve operational issues.
- Managing site‑based project works and assisting with 1‑to‑12 monthly mechanical PPM checks within commercial plant rooms.
- Participating in a structured on‑call rota (1 week in 4) to execute emergency callouts and reinstate heat securely.
