. You'll be completing multi-drop deliveries across London and surrounding areas in an 18-tonne vehicle, delivering to wholesale and retail customers.

The customer is ideally looking to strengthen its permanent driving team, so while permanent employment cannot be guaranteed, there is a genuine possibility of temporary work developing into a permanent position for the right drivers

  • Accurate & reliable weekly pay every Thursday evening / Friday morning.

  • No weekend shifts currently required.

The Role

As an HGV Class 2 Driver, you'll be responsible for

  • Multi-drop deliveries across London and surrounding areas.
  • Primarily driving an
  • Following planned routes and daily delivery manifests.
  • Checking deliveries and obtaining proof of delivery.
  • Loading and unloading boxes, cartons, sacks and other food products.
  • Completing daily vehicle and safety checks.
  • Providing a professional service when delivering to customers.
  • Supporting with other suitable vehicles, including
  • 3.5-tonne vans

, where occasionally required.

This is a hands-on driving role

, so drivers must be comfortable with loading, unloading and physically handling stock.

Our Requirements

To be considered, you will need

Category C (Class 2) driving licence.

  • Valid
  • Driver CPC / DQC
  • Valid
  • Digital Tachograph Card
  • Previous HGV driving experience.
  • Multi-drop experience or confidence working within a busy multi-drop environment.
  • Good understanding of Drivers' Hours, Working Time and tachograph requirements.
  • Good customer-service and communication skills.
  • Ability to safely load, unload and move stock.
  • Reliability and good timekeeping.
  • No more than 6 points on your licence.

Previous experience within food distribution, wholesale or London multi-drop delivery work would be advantageous.
