Are you a caring, enthusiastic and motivated Healthcare Assistant looking to make a real difference?
We are excited to welcome a compassionate and energetic individual to join our friendly, supportive nursing team on Ward 7A, our busy Chemotherapy Day Unit.
This is a full-time position (37.5 hours per week), working Monday to Friday, offering the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with patients and become an important part of their cancer care journey.

Ward 7A is a vibrant and rewarding place to work, caring for up to200 patients each daywho attend for chemotherapy and other cancer treatments.
We understand that many of our patients arrive feeling anxious or uncertain, and every member of our team plays a vital role in helping them feel welcomed, supported and cared for.
As part of the recruitment process for this post, candidates will be required to complete an online literacy and numeracy test and only if they pass this, will they be invited to a formal interview.
As a Healthcare Assistant, you will help create a safe, clean and comfortable environment for patients and their loved ones.
You will support with refreshments, provide practical assistance when needed, and offer reassurance throughout each patient's visit.
Because many patients return regularly for treatment, you will have the opportunity to build trusting relationships and become a familiar, friendly face during an important time in their lives.
