As Head of Procurement, you will lead the procurement function, delivering a commercially focused, value-driven procurement strategy across ATG's UK estate of theatres, venues, and corporate offices.

Reporting to the UK Hospitality Director, you will be responsible for developing procurement capability, driving cost efficiencies, strengthening supplier relationships, and ensuring robust governance across all third-party spend.

The primary focus of the role is Food & Beverage and hospitality-led procurement, with broader responsibility spanning Goods & Services Not for Resale (GNFR), encompassing strategic sourcing, category management, contract negotiation, and supplier performance across both areas.

You will partner with senior stakeholders across the business to ensure procurement supports operational excellence, commercial growth, and exceptional customer experiences.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a UK-wide procurement strategy aligned with ATG's commercial and operational objectives.
  • Lead the Procurement function, providing strategic direction, governance, and best practice.
  • Build a high-performing procurement capability through coaching, development, and continuous improvement.
  • Champion procurement as a trusted business partner, embedding commercial thinking across the organisation.
  • Category Management

Own and develop procurement strategies across a broad range of spend categories.

Food & Beverage is the lead category, covering everything from supplier sourcing and menu-aligned product ranges to margin management across 33 venues in the West End and regional locations.

  • Lead procurement activity for contracts exceeding £50k annual value.
  • Identify opportunities to improve supply chain efficiency and reduce total cost of ownership.
  • Develop strategic relationships with key suppliers.
  • Establish supplier performance frameworks, KPIs and service reviews.
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement across the supply base.
  • Manage supplier risk and business continuity planning.
  • Ensure contractual compliance throughout the contract lifecycle.

Build strong relationships across Operations, Finance, Property, Facilities, Food & Beverage, and Theatre teams.

Lead communication around procurement initiatives, supplier changes, and category strategies.

Systems & Process Improvement

Manage procurement processes within ATG's ERP system.

Drive improvements in procurement technology and reporting.

Develop spend analytics to identify opportunities and support decision making.

We're looking for an experienced procurement leader who combines strong commercial acumen with excellent relationship-building skills. You'll be able to demonstrate:

Qualifications

  • Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, or a related discipline.
