About the role of Façade Manager:
- The role will be managing the façade package, working alongside an on-site Façade Lead.
- You will need to oversee the installation of unitised façades, curtain walling, glazed façades, cladding, and window and door systems.
- The project is worth circa £80m.
- Strong people management skills, experience in leading large teams, including solid technical knowledge of short-term programming and construction methodology.
- Strong background delivering projects involving:
- Curtain walling
- Cladding
- Windows and doors
- Experience managing all phases of facade packages, including health and safety, quality, and costs.
- Knowledge of facade design, detailing, and structural design standards, as well as experience designing facades for different types of projects.
- Understanding of facade materials, manufacturing methods, installation, and testing.
- Ability to communicate effectively with architects, sub-contractors, and other stakeholders, and to present design concepts clearly.
- Working with other professionals, such as engineers and architects, to achieve project objectives.
- Oversee day-to-day operations on construction sites, making sure all health & safety protocols are in place.
