Corporate Security Officer - Average 42 hours per week - Days & Nights
CIS Security has an exciting opportunity for a Corporate Security Officer to join our team at the brand new prestigious, The Turing Building!
An office building within the International Quarter London development offering 350,000 sq. ft of office space across 22 floors.
As an ambassador of CIS Security, you will represent both our brand and our customer, delivering a professional, customer-focused security service.
The building will be run by sophisticated technology with a very collaborative service team.

- Pay Rate: £15.24 per hour
- Hours: Average 42 hours per week
- Shifts: 4 On 4 Off - Days & Nights
Job Requirements
- SIA Licence required DS preferred
- Corporate Security, Concierge, hospitality background, or Front-of-House experience for at least 1 year is advantageous
- Flexible availability for working days, nights, and weekends, and adapting to operational needs
- Provide impeccable customer service, ensuring all staff, visitors, and service users receive a 5-star experience
- Conduct opening and closing procedures, internal and external patrols, and monitor access control
- Manage emergency situations, respond quickly, and follow site-specific procedures
- Operate CCTV systems and manage security systems with high competency
- Maintain incident logs and ensure all paperwork is up to date
- Audits are completed for site and training to those who are new
- Key control and permit checks
- Ensure safety and security protocols are strictly followed, including conducting security checks and managing emergency alarms
- Professional communication with site personnel and escalation of any incidents to appropriate management
- Use a range of monitoring and communication facilities to ensure site security, following protocol at all times.
Job Responsibilities
- SIA CCTV Licence is desirable, with knowledge of local area security operations being an advantage
- Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written - with a strong command of English
- IT proficiency is a must, including familiarity with Microsoft Office and other security management systems
- Be able to act decisively under pressure, particularly during emergency or high-stress situations
- Strong interpersonal skills, with a focus on teamwork, but also able to work independently
- Must have First Aid training and completed all Ed App courses
- Physically fit, as the role requires patrolling and standing
- Efficient in incident report writing, and able to handle corporate emails professionally
- Escalation skills - able to communicate incidents to the correct personnel efficiently, following corporate escalation processes
- Immaculate personal presentation and reliability are essential to uphold the company’s professional image
- You are calm under pressure and maintain professionalism in confrontational situations
- You possess a courteous and outgoing demeanour, with excellent customer service skills
- Able to handle diverse responsibilities, such as issuing access passes, monitoring life safety systems, and supporting the control room team when needed
- You can demonstrate a thorough understanding of emergency protocols, access control procedures, and incident management
- Able to collaborate as a team member and across service partners.
- Support the Controller with day-to-day site operations.
