Morley College London is seeking a Café Services Assistant to join our catering team at the North Kensington Centre. You will help prepare, cook, present and serve a range of hot and cold food, while providing excellent customer service to students, staff and visitors. The role will also include operating the till, handling payments and supporting hospitality for College meetings and events. You will ensure that kitchen, service and dining areas are kept clean and hygienic, monitor food storage temperatures and work in line with food safety and health and safety requirements. This is a term-time role working 33.5 hours per week over 36 weeks.

You will have previous experience in a similar customer-facing or catering role and a strong commitment to providing a high-quality service. You will be reliable, organised and able to work calmly under pressure as part of a team. Good communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with an understanding of food hygiene, health and safety, equality, safeguarding and Prevent. A Level 2 Food Safety and Hygiene certificate is desirable, although you may be supported to achieve this.
