Arcus FM are recruiting within our facilities maintenance team and are looking for a skilled and reliable Fabric Specialist to deliver high-quality planned and reactive maintenance services across a portfolio of multi-site clients.

Competitive Salary: £34,271 per annum

As an Arcus Building Fabric Specialist, you'll work across multiple client sites in your area, ensuring facilities are safe, fully functional, and well-maintained. This is a mobile role that offers variety, autonomy, and the chance to showcase your expertise in a range of building fabric tasks.

You’ll be expected to:

  • Deliver effective repairs and maintenance work to a high standard
  • Respond to reactive issues promptly and professionally
  • Support customer satisfaction through excellent service delivery

Requirements:

  • Time-served, hands-on experience in multiple trades (ideally in a fabric maintenance role)
  • NVQ, City & Guilds, BTEC, or equivalent qualifications in a relevant trade
  • A valid UK driver's licence
  • Confidence working independently and in customer-facing environments
  • Comfortable using handheld IT equipment for work management and documentation
  • Solid knowledge of health & safety standards
  • Experience in retail or multi-site maintenance environments

Core trade skills we're looking for include:

  • Patch plastering and rendering
  • Carpentry and joinery
  • Floor and wall coverings (tiling, vinyl etc)
  • Basic plumbing
  • Changing locks and fittings
  • General fabric repairs

Additional info:

  • Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday
  • On-call rota: 1 in every 4 weeks
