A leading London Market insurance organisation is looking to appoint a Bordereaux Technician to join its growing Operations function. The business has an established presence within the specialty insurance market and is continuing to invest in its delegated authority capabilities, operational processes and data management framework. Your New Role
As a Bordereaux Technician, you will be responsible for the accurate processing and management of premium, claims and risk bordereaux received from a range of delegated authority partners. You will review submissions, validate data quality, identify discrepancies and ensure reporting is processed in line with contractual and regulatory requirements. Working closely with both internal teams and external stakeholders, you will investigate reporting issues, resolve data queries and support the effective management of delegated authority arrangements. The role will involve maintaining bordereaux schedules, managing data uploads, supporting reporting processes and ensuring information held within internal systems remains accurate and up to date. This position will suit an individual who enjoys working with data, has a keen eye for detail and is looking to further develop their career within the London Market insurance sector.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
To be considered for this opportunity, you will ideally have previous experience working within a Bordereaux, Delegated Authority, Technical Processing or Insurance Operations environment. You will have a strong understanding of premium, claims and risk bordereaux together with knowledge of Lloyd's and London Market reporting processes. Exposure to delegated authority business, coverholder arrangements and data-focused insurance operations would be highly beneficial. Candidates should possess excellent analytical and organisational skills, with the ability to review large volumes of information accurately and efficiently. You will be confident identifying anomalies, investigating issues and working collaboratively with stakeholders to achieve timely resolutions. Strong Excel skills are essential, including experience working with large datasets, lookups, pivot tables and data validation techniques. Previous exposure to delegated authority systems, data mapping tools or similar insurance platforms would be advantageous.
