An Afterschool Nanny is required by a family to help care for their two school aged children. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of childcare experience and will speak fluent English. Someone reliable, patient, energetic, understanding, and confident supporting children with autism and ADHD would be ideal for this role. A driver is required for this role, and the family can provide a car. A valid first aid certification is required for this role.
Working hours: Monday to Thursday, 18+ hours per week.
Duties include:
- carrying out school runs
- implementing daily routines
- preparing healthy meals and snacks for the children
- helping with homework
- organising and joining in activities
- washing and bathing the children when required
- keeping the children’s bedrooms and play areas clean and tidy
- bringing a calm, patient, and understanding approach
- cooking for the children, if agreed
- working extra hours during school holidays when required
