Join Our Dynamic Integrated Sexual Health Team! Are you a qualified advanced clinical practitioner passionate about Integrated Sexual Health? We are seeking a motivated band 8a advanced clinical practitioner in ISH to join our forward-thinking ISH team. We welcome applicants from nursing, midwifery or allied health professions who are qualified advanced clinical practitioners with extensive Integrated Sexual Health experience who are keen to work in a supportive and multidisciplinary environment.

We have 1 fixed term 12-month post who will focus on supporting the development of targeted sexual health in reach and outreach services for vulnerable and underserved Westminster residents who remain under-represented within traditional healthcare settings. You will be fully supported in your role by the department’s consultant nurses and wider leadership teams.

Demonstrate effectiveness in prioritising, escalating, de-escalating, providing self-help or management advice and refer for treatment/assessment/decision support in a timely manner within the clinical context of your role. Apply high level decision-making and assessment skills to formulate appropriate differential diagnoses based on synthesis of clinical findings. Have the autonomy and authority to apply judgement and clinical reasoning to request, where indicated, appropriate diagnostic tests/investigations (including microscopy) based on differential diagnoses and act on previously requested results of tests/investigations working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.

Formulate an action plan for the treatment of the patient, synthesising clinical information based on the patient's presentation, history, clinical assessment and findings from relevant investigations, using appropriate evidence-based practice. Work as an independent prescriber and implement non-pharmacological related interventions/therapies, dependent on situation and technical requirements of care. Act within your own advanced scope of practice when making professional judgements and clinical reasoning to manage risk. Use advanced communication skills in all aspects of patient assessment, care and support.
