Salary: £31,554 - £33,270 per annum inclusive of HCAS (Pro rata)

Role: Band 3 Admission Coordinator within the Children and Young People’s Division.

Position type: Permanent part‑time, 30 hours a week, predominantly on site at 250 Euston Road.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and bright individual who enjoys working in a busy, friendly, multidisciplinary team environment. The successful candidate will provide full administrative services, support busy clinical teams and ensure children, young people and their families receive a high‑quality, seamless experience.

Responsibilities

  • Upload patient records to Epic.
  • Send call reminders and book interpreters.
  • Check post and coordinate communication.
  • Book, cancel and reschedule appointments.
  • Validate waiting lists.
  • Coordinate patient pathways from referral through to treatment, ensuring accurate information across Trust systems.

Qualifications

  • Excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High degree of empathy, diplomacy and integrity.
  • Strong organisational, proactive and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced healthcare environment.
  • Confidence using IT systems and databases, with a keen eye for detail to maintain data quality and confidentiality.
  • Team player who can also work independently and take ownership of workload.
  • Positive, flexible approach and genuine interest in supporting children and young people’s services.
