Contract length: 6 months
Day shift 20 hours of work per week, Monday to Friday (no weekends).

Responsibilities
- Liaise with insurers for teaching staff and produce annual data to support new cover
- Cost control and analysis
- Procurement
- Prepare data needed for monthly management accounts for the Financial Controller
- Corporate credit cards reconciliation
- Contribute to the annual audit process
- Support with Accounts Payable and Receivable
- Support with orders, including liaising with suppliers
- Build strong relationships with school leaders, colleagues in the central team and external partners
- Develop and enhance internal controls to safeguard assets, improve financial accuracy, and minimise risks
- Assist the COO and Financial Controller with any projects or specific tasks required
Experience
- Proven experience in accounts payable
- AAT, ATT, or part-qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA
- Competency with financial software with the ability to quickly adapt to new systems
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and competing demands effectively
- Analytical, detail-oriented, with excellent organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- A clear dedication to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, aligning with school policies and standards
- Ability to work really well in a team whilst being a proactive and self-driven professional
