20392 - Commissioning and Partnership Officer – London Probation Service

The Commissioning and Partnerships Officer supports the delivery of regional commissioning priorities by helping to develop and implement commissioning plans, partnership activity and service improvement projects.

They will link in with operational colleagues to ensure that existing commissioned and partnerships are promoted effectively within the PDUs.

The role gathers and analyses quantitative and qualitative data on service need and demand to help inform commissioning decisions and the development of new services.

The postholder contributes to the drafting and review of service specifications, memorandums of understanding, reports and other commissioning documentation.

They support grant and procurement activity by coordinating market engagement, producing key documentation and assisting with bid evaluation processes.

The role provides secretariat and project support to governance groups, while developing effective relationships with operational colleagues, providers and external partners across the criminal justice sector.
