Hays are currently recruiting for a User Researcher to join a large-scale digital transformation programme based in Liverpool. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary delivery team, helping to shape and improve digital services through user-centred design and evidence-based decision-making.
Your new role
- Plan, design and conduct user research across a range of digital products and services.
- Engage with users and stakeholders to understand needs, behaviours and pain points.
- Analyse research findings and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
- Present research outcomes to stakeholders in a clear and engaging way.
- Work closely with Product Managers, Business Analysts, Service Designers, UX Designers and Delivery Teams.
- Champion user-centred design principles throughout the project life cycle.
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience working as a User Researcher within digital transformation programmes.
- Strong understanding and practical experience of Government Digital Service (GDS) standards and service design principles.
- Experience planning and delivering a range of qualitative and quantitative research methods.
- Ability to communicate complex findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience working within agile, multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills.
