Do you have excellent people skills, a passion for supporting older and vulnerable residents, and the ability to deliver high-quality housing management services? We are looking for a Sheltered Scheme Manager to join our team and provide housing management and wellbeing support across our sheltered and independent living schemes in Liverpool.
This is a rewarding role where you will build positive relationships with residents aged 55+, helping them to live safely, independently and confidently within their homes and communities. You'll be responsible for delivering a visible and responsive service, promoting resident wellbeing and ensuring our schemes remain safe, welcoming and well-managed environments.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Deliver effective housing management across sheltered and independent living schemes, ensuring excellent service delivery and compliance.
- Provide wellbeing support, responding to resident enquiries, concerns, emergencies and low-level disputes to promote
- independence and positive outcomes.
- Complete assessments, support plans, reviews and case management activities to help residents remain safe and sustain their
- Support the lettings process through viewings, sign-ups and promoting sheltered housing to minimise voids.
- Encourage resident engagement in activities that support health, wellbeing and social inclusion.
- Assist residents to access welfare benefits, budgeting support, digital services and specialist support where needed.
- Work closely with internal teams, external agencies and community partners to ensure residents receive appropriate support and
- effective signposting.
- Carry out scheme inspections, health and safety checks and monitor communal areas, reporting repairs and liaising with
- contractors as required.
- Promote safeguarding and ensure any concerns are reported and managed in line with policy and procedure.
- Maintain accurate records, use digital systems effectively and contribute to continuous service improvement
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in sheltered housing, housing management, supported housing, social care, or a similar customer-focused role supporting older or vulnerable people
- Experience carrying out assessments, support planning and managing customer cases.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, colleagues and
- Knowledge of safeguarding and a commitment to promoting resident wellbeing, independence and tenancy sustainment.
- Ability to manage challenging situations confidently, using sound judgement and resilience.
- Experience supporting customers with budgeting, welfare benefits or accessing support services.
- Good IT skills and experience using digital systems to maintain accurate records.
- A commitment to delivering high-quality, inclusive services and excellent customer care.
- Full UK driving licence with access to your own vehicle and appropriate business insurance.

- our Liverpool City Centre Office week commencing 27th July 2026.
