Auto Parts / Warehouse / Computer Skills
This is a multi-faceted role which includes:
- Picking and packing orders in our Goods-out department
- Dealing with parts/stock/technical enquiries by telephone and email
- Processing website customer and supplier orders on our database
ABILITY
Criteria for this job:
- To be enthusiastic and able to adapt to different tasks as required
- Have good common sense and be able to use your own initiative
- Be physically able to lift 25kg parcels
- Be able to walk for a lot of the day and climb some steps
- Have good computer keyboard skills and typing speed
- Live in Cornwall within a 15 mile radius of Liskeard and own a car
EXPERIENCE
You should preferably have experience with:
- Automotive, industrial or retail warehousing
- Software like Microsoft Office or Sage Accounts
INTEGRATION
Integration between staff members is a must because:
- We are a small company
- Assists team building
- Everyone works together to a common goal
- Support and assistance is always there
HOURS
This is a full time job so working hours are:
- 4 weeks holiday plus all normal bank holidays
- We close between Xmas and New Year so there will always be some compulsory leave within that period
PAY
Your pay will be:
- You will start on a 3 month trial
WORKPLACE
Our warehouse and office details:
- We are on a green field site away from any industry
- You will be working in a clean, dry and warm environment
- You will have your own desk and computer terminal
- Lunch can be taken in our staff room with comfortable seating
- Microwave, fridge, kettle, tea and coffee are all provided
