Overview
We are seeking to appoint a Pupil Support Assistant to provide high quality support and care with a focus on academic progress, reading, behaviour and well-being.
This is an exciting and rewarding role in a team that makes a difference to young people.
Responsibilities
- Support specific needs in accordance with students' individual SEN Profiles / Educational Health Care Plans.
- Be passionate about removing barriers and committed to working with colleagues to improve outcomes for learners.
- Deliver learning activities to both individual students and small groups.
- Demonstrate outstanding interpersonal skills when working with young people, work well in a team, and be IT literate.
Qualifications and skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with young people.
- Ability to work in a team and IT literacy.
- Willingness to undertake training as necessary.
