Your new role
As an Electrical Project Manager, you will oversee the delivery of electrical installation projects from pre-construction through to completion.
Your responsibilities will include planning and coordinating labour, procuring materials, managing subcontractors, monitoring project programmes, attending client meetings and ensuring all works are delivered safely, on time and to specification.
This role is open to both experienced Electrical Project Managers and experienced installation-focused Electrical Supervisors, Site Managers or Electricians who are looking to progress into project management.
The company can provide support and mentorship for candidates who have managed electrical installation works on site and are ready to take the next step in their career.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will have
A strong background in electrical installations within the building services or electrical contracting sector.
Experience delivering or supervising electrical installation projects on commercial, industrial, residential or similar construction projects.
Previous experience as an Electrical Project Manager, Electrical Supervisor, Electrical Site Manager, Working Supervisor or Senior Electrician, or a desire to progress into project management from one of these positions.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to coordinate labour, materials and subcontractors.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with clients, site teams and stakeholders.
A proactive approach and good commercial awareness.
Relevant electrical qualifications such as NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, ECS or equivalent.
Please note: This role is focused on electrical installation and project delivery.
Candidates whose experience is primarily within electrical maintenance, facilities management, service, compliance or repair environments are unlikely to be suitable.
