Trinity House works for the benefit and safety of all mariners as a General Lighthouse Authority and maritime charity. Our people are central to our reputation as a leading maritime organisation, as is our commitment as an employer to developing the skills, capabilities and potential of our workforce.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a technical team responsible for the maintenance and repair of our aids to navigation, lighthouses, and other installations. You will be working on a wide range of electronic, electrical and mechanical systems and equipment. The working environments can vary from land based installations to those that are off shore, many requiring access over rough ground. This, coupled with the physical nature of the duties involved, calls for appropriate levels of health and fitness. Modes of transport to access the installations can be a combination of road transport, boat and helicopter.
We would love to hear from you if you have the following Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
Skills and Experience
- A good level of experience in a technical maintenance/installation role,
- An appropriate level of practical training as provided by a craft apprenticeship,
- Significant experience in servicing diesel engines with mechanical alternator interfaces,
