Working Foreman/Woman to support the civils team on HS2. This is an all-round supervisory role, involving hands-on oversight of structures, earthworks, and general construction operations, with flexibility to cover additional areas when team members are on leave.

Key Duties

  • Supervise day-to-day civils activities including structures, earthworks, drainage, and general construction tasks
  • Coordinate labour, subcontractors, plant, and materials to ensure works progress safely and efficiently
  • Support the delivery of planned works in line with programme requirements
  • Assist with daily briefings, task allocations, and on-site coordination
  • Monitor work quality, productivity, and adherence to specifications
  • Maintain communication with site management, engineers, and other supervisors
  • Provide cover across multiple work fronts when team members are absent
