We're looking for a proactive and organised Junior HR Advisor to join our HR team, supporting managers across the business with a wide range of employee relations matters. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with HR experience who is keen to develop their ER knowledge within a fast-paced and supportive environment.
Working alongside experienced HR professionals, you'll gain exposure to a variety of cases including absence management, disciplinary and grievance matters, performance management, probation reviews and flexible working requests, helping to ensure our colleagues receive fair, consistent and professional HR support throughout their employment journey.
What you'll be doing:
- Providing first-line HR and Employee Relations advice to managers
- Supporting the management of ER cases from initial enquiry through to resolution
- Advising on absence management, performance concerns, disciplinary and grievance matters
- Preparing HR documentation, investigation packs and outcome letters
- Maintaining accurate case records and HR systems
- Supporting formal meetings, including note-taking where required
- Assisting with HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives
- Keeping up to date with employment legislation and HR best practice
What we're looking for:
- Previous experience in an HR or Employee Relations role
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Confidence working with managers and handling sensitive situations
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment
- A proactive approach with a genuine passion for delivering great HR support
- Working knowledge of employment legislation and HR processes would be advantageous
