- As an Accountant, your roles and responsibilities will include…
- Managing a portfolio of your own clients
- Preparing client records and trial balances
- Preparing and submitting VAT returns under MTD & helping clients get MTD ready
- Preparing annual accounts from trial balance
- Preparing and submitting Corporation & self-assessment tax returns
- Preparing management accounts where clients need it
- Liaising with HMRC and companies house
- We’re looking for an Accountant with the following skills and experience…
- Qualified accountant ACCA, ACA, CA or CIMA
- Around 3 years post qualification experience in a practice environment
- Confident across full accounts preparation and year end processes
- Strong, accurate and detail focused
- Comfortable in a client facing role with excellent customer service
- Driven and great at managing your own workload and deadlines
- Hands on experience with Xero, Sage and Tax Calc (or similar)
- Payroll knowledge preferable including PAYE process
