Job Description
We are seeking a People & Culture Advisor to support our major government contract, providing expert people advice across a diverse and complex workforce. This is an exciting opportunity to work across four regions, supporting managers with employee relations matters, people processes, and organisational change initiatives within a large TUPE environment
We are looking for an experienced HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys managing complex employee relations cases. Reporting to Rachael Robinson, you will play a key role in promoting positive people practices, supporting managers, and ensuring compliance with employment legislation, policies, and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide policy and procedure guidance to managers, ensuring compliance and reducing business risk.
- Support and guide managers through employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, investigation and hearing processes.
- Manage complex employee relations cases across the DEFRA contract.
- Support organisational change activities, including restructures and TUPE-related matters.
- Build strong working relationships with managers, providing proactive people advice and coaching.
- Collaborate with People & Culture Centres of Excellence and wider business stakeholders.
- Support union engagement activities where required.
- Promote inclusive people practices and contribute to a positive workplace culture.
