Level 3 Business Administration Apprentice

Work as part of a team providing a full administration service in Women & Children's Administration. This will include, but is not limited to, the following:

  • 1 Undertake a variety of administrative, clerical and secretarial duties for the Women & Childrens Team as appropriate.

This includes the opening and distribution of post, typing clinical correspondence, preparing clinic notes, data input, and answering phones.

  • 2. Assist in managing various inboxes, responding to basic queries and liaising with clinicians as required.
  • 3. Liaise with other departments as necessary to make appointments, obtain case notes etc.
  • 4. Answering telephone queries politely, promptly and in a professional manner.
  • 5. Dealing with queries as they occur throughout the day and passing on messages promptly to the appropriate parties.
  • 6. Retrieving case notes from Medical Records as and when required.
  • 7. Preparation of resources for teaching, lectures and presentations, as and when required.
  • 8. Effective use of time management skills to prioritise workload.
  • 9. Scanning documents and reports for uploading against electronic patient records (EPR)
  • 10. To sign a learning contract with the training provider and adhere to the agreement.
