The Intermediate Care Team provides rehabilitation and reablement to the population of the Shetland Islands aged 18 and over, with the majority of the caseload being older people with a variety of complex conditions.
The post holder will work primarily within the community setting in client’s homes and in Local Authority provided care homes.
HCPC registered, you will hold a degree or equivalent qualification in Occupational Therapy and a minimum of 3 years clinical experience with a highly developed understanding of Occupational Therapy. In addition, you will need to be able to demonstrate experience of assessing and developing Occupational Therapy graded rehabilitation programmes for clients in a variety of settings.
