Leisure services are currently recruiting Casual Leisure Assistants.
- Leisure Assistants are responsible for pool discipline and constant vigilance of bathers activities.
- To keep up to date knowledge of the facilities programme and requirements of a multi use facility.
- To ensure that knowledge of products, sales procedures and activities are up to date.
- To maintain training hours in accordance with NPLQ guide lines, and to maintain the NPLQ qualification.
- To be well presented at all times with clean uniform and a neat and tidy appearance.
- To provide excellent standards of customer service and follow the staff pledge.
- Complete membership show rounds as and when necessary, with a view to sign up new members.
- Positively reflect Blackpool Services and Blackpool Council at all times.
- Ensure that all equipment is safe for use, available and set out for the customer.
- To complete accurately all paperwork required on a daily basis.
- To ensure through out the day that cleaning and inspection processes are followed and the facility is maintained to a safe and clean level.
- Implements and supervises measures devised by the Leisure Manager, Duty Officer, Assistant Duty Officer, maintaining the security of the premises.
