You will be joining a leading and highly respected Tier 1 civil engineering contractor with an exceptional reputation for delivering major infrastructure projects across the UK.

Due to continued success, they are actively seeking a talented Site Agent to join their delivery team at Sizewell C.

This is a full-time permanent position based on site in Leiston.

Your new role

As Site Agent, you will be responsible for the safe, efficient and successful delivery of allocated packages of work across the Sizewell C project.

Managing site operations from planning through to completion, you will lead site teams, coordinate subcontractors and ensure works are delivered to programme, budget and quality expectations.

Key responsibilities will include

  • Managing day-to-day site activities and operational delivery
  • Leading engineers, supervisors and subcontractors on site
  • Ensuring works are delivered safely and in accordance with company procedures
  • Developing short-term programmes and coordinating resources effectively
  • Monitoring project progress, identifying risks and implementing mitigation measures
  • Managing quality assurance processes and producing project documentation
  • Supporting commercial performance through accurate reporting and cost control
  • Liaising with clients, stakeholders and project management teams
  • Driving a positive health, safety and environmental culture throughout the project
  • Ensuring compliance with industry regulations, specifications and standards.
  • What you'll need to succeed

In order to be successful, you must have

  • Proven experience as a Site Agent, Senior Engineer or Sub Agent within civil engineering or major infrastructure projects
  • Working knowledge of CDM regulations, health and safety and quality management systems
  • Experience managing subcontractors, resources and site logistics
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and direct site teams
  • Sound problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset
  • CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid and a full UK driving licence.
