Lead, supervise, and support a team of Care Assistants to deliver high-quality, person-centred care.

Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support.

Assist service users with meals, hydration, medication support (where trained), and daily living activities.

Complete and review care plans, service user assessments, and risk assessments to ensure care meets individual needs.

Conduct spot checks, observations, and competency assessments to maintain high standards of care.

Monitor the health and wellbeing of service users, reporting any changes or concerns promptly to the Registered Manager.

Maintain accurate care records, daily notes, incident reports, and other required documentation.

Mentor, support, and assist with the induction and ongoing training of new and existing care staff.

Ensure all care is delivered in line with company policies, safeguarding procedures, health and safety requirements, and regulatory standards.

Liaise effectively with service users, their families, healthcare professionals, and the wider multidisciplinary team.

Respond appropriately to emergencies, accidents, incidents, and safeguarding concerns, following company procedures.

Participate in the on-call rota and provide support with emergency cover and out-of-hours enquiries when required.

Promote the dignity, independence, privacy, rights, and wellbeing of all service users, ensuring their choices and preferences are respected.

Carry out additional duties delegated by the Registered Manager to support the effective and efficient running of the service.
