About the Role
Smart Solutions are currently recruiting for a Recycling Picker / Sort Line Operative to join a busy recycling facility based in Leicester.
This is a hands-on role where you will play an important part in the recycling process by sorting recyclable materials, removing contamination, and helping to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Sort recyclable materials from a moving conveyor belt.
- Remove unsuitable or contaminated materials from the waste stream.
- Separate recyclable materials into the correct categories.
- Keep the work area clean, tidy, and organised.
- Follow all site health and safety procedures.
- Carry out general recycling and housekeeping duties as required.
- Work as part of a team to meet daily production targets.
