Waterer Dental Care is seeking a friendly Qualified Dental Nurse/Receptionist to join our lovely team here in Leek Staffordshire. The role requires you to perform reception duties and work in surgery/decontamination room as a dental nurse.
The practice is fully private and offers a wide range of treatments including routine dental treatment, cosmetic dentistry, facial aesthetics, Implant/sinus lift surgery and cosmetic braces. We are currently looking for a bubbly, confident individual to join our experienced team.
Role requirements:
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer telephone calls
- Perform general clerical duties, such as photocopying, scanning, and filing
- Book and amend Patient dental appointments
- Take payments for appointments and sundries sales
- Perform other banking duties
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages
- Provide administrative support to staff as needed
- Monitoring emails
- Comfortable in assisting the clinical team in providing and maintaining outstanding patient care
- Confident in following practice decontamination and infection control policies and procedures and work to current guidelines and legislation in relation to confidentiality and GDPR
- Participate in, and contribute, to practice meetings
- Understand and follow the patient journey
- GDC Registered with up-to-date CPD including recent infection prevention control certificates
- Level 3 Dental Nurse Qualification or equivalent with current GDC Registration
Full induction programme, full uniform and all PPE provided. Further training for additional qualification/roles/procedures will also be offered throughout employment.
