What skills and experience we're looking for

The Ruth Gorse Academy is seeking an outstanding and highly motivated Teacher of Mathematics to join our team, teaching across Key Stage 3 and 4.

You will be an excellent classroom practitioner with high expectations, a passion for raising achievement, and a commitment to supporting every student to reach their full potential.

Potential applicants should

  • A trainee teacher who is successfully completing placement(s) teaching at KS3 & KS4 (applicants currently in training).

or

  • A colleague with a successful record of teaching with strong examination results at one or more of KS3 & KS4 (applicants who have already gained Qualified Teacher Status).

  • Deliver engaging, high-quality lessons at KS3 and KS4.
  • Inspire students to achieve exceptional outcomes.
  • Use assessment effectively to drive progress and attainment.
