Service Manager - 36 hours (12m Mat Cover)

About You As an experienced people manager, you will relish leading a team where you will strive for excellence at all times.

You will be able to encourage the development of your colleagues and you will offer support and coaching when needed.

Being able to set clear objectives and targets for your team is key and you will enjoy working with them to deliver on these consistently.

With the ability to remain calm under pressure whilst juggling multiple priorities you will be resilient and tenacious to cope with a busy work environment where no two days are the same.

You will have an eye for detail and bring the ability to forecast ahead and plan both staffing and other resources around future service demand and expectations.

You will welcome opportunities to build excellent working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders and have exceptional communication skills.

Some of your key strengths will be being able to demonstrate excellent problem solving, time management, negotiation, and leadership skills.

  • You will also bring;
  • Previous managerial experience managing people and financial resources.
  • Experience in a healthcare setting although highly desirable is not essential.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, the regulatory framework, along with reproductive health issues.
  • Experience of working with regulatory bodies, e. g. CQC and knowledge of Health and Safety HND or Degree, DMS or other post-graduate management qualification.

Salary £43,988 - £53,187 per annum, depending upon skills and experience. Plus an additional £500 per annum for the satellite unit

Hours 36 per week. Working Pattern Flexible during business hours over Monday to Saturday
