Carlisle Events is a leading supplier of staffing solutions, providing Stewarding, Security and Event Operations to some of the UK's premier entertainment and sporting venues for more than twenty years. As part of our Events team, you will play a key part in enhancing the customer experience for event days at our client's prestigious venue. Our event staff work hard providing a visible reminder that safety is our number one priority for visitors and staff, all whilst maintaining extremely high levels of customer service.
If successful in your application for the role, you must be willing to attend First Aid, Spectator Safety and Induction training in our Leeds office.
- Events Induction: TBC
- First Aid Course (unless you have a valid certificate already): 12th or 16th October
- Spectator Safety Course: 13th, 14th, 15th October
We are seeking well-presented, articulate and reliable security personnel to work at a variety of events held at football and rugby stadia across West Yorkshire. You will be working for our clients at their world class venues in the North. As an Event Security Officer, your main role will be to ensure the safety and security of everyone attending events at the stadium. This could include, but is not limited to:
- Performing searches on spectators
- Directing spectators
- Monitoring crowds
- Managing queues
At some of our client's venues, we are also able to offer opportunities in specialist roles such as VIP Hospitality and Players' Areas. We have excellent progression routes available, including Supervisory level roles, and similar roles at some of our other event venues. If wanted, we are also able to offer opportunities to work at some of our iconic event venues across the UK.
We are looking for candidates that can commit to working a minimum of 75% of events held at one of our client venues, or work across multiple sites. Flexibility and reliability are essential. You must be at least 18 years old and hold a minimum DS-level SIA license. Excellent communication skills and an aptitude for working with the public are required, along with a friendly, approachable, and professional manner. Previous experience in security/stewarding or customer care would be advantageous.
