A well-established and highly regarded Yorkshire law firm is looking to recruit an experienced Family Legal Secretary to join its busy Family department.
With a choice of office locations across Leeds, Huddersfield, Pontefract and Barnsley, together with hybrid working, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Family Secretary looking for greater flexibility within a supportive and friendly firm.
The Role
You'll provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to Family Solicitors and Fee Earners handling a varied caseload of family law matters.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Audio and copy typing of correspondence and legal documents
- Preparing court forms, bundles and other documentation
- Diary management and arranging appointments
- Liaising with clients, courts, counsel and other professionals
- Opening and closing files and carrying out compliance procedures
- Managing emails and assisting with fee earners' day-to-day workloads
- Maintaining accurate files and records
- Providing general administrative support to the wider Family team
