Recycling Sorters / Site Operatives
Leeds (LS11)
This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of an environmentally focused team that plays a key role in waste recycling and sustainability.
About the Role
You’ll be helping to sort and process various recyclable materials, including cartons, plastics, paper, and aluminium, ensuring they’re ready for onward recycling.
Your main duties will include:
- Working on a conveyor belt (with the option to sit)
- Sorting materials efficiently and safely
- Supporting general site operations such as housekeeping, litter-picking, repacking, and cleaning tasks
What We’re Looking For
We’re after individuals who are:
- Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic
- Safety-conscious, maintaining high standards at all times
- Candiate who has experience working in fast pace environment
- Adaptable and flexible, with a willingness to work overtime when needed
- recycling environment (please note: the site can have specific odours due to the materials processed)
- Due to workign hours candidate MUST have own transport or live local to workplace.
Pay Rates
- Afternoon - £13.17 + Overtimes paid at Time & Half and Double
- Night shift - £15.20 + Overtimes paid at Time & Half and Double
This is a
long-term ongoing position with the
potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
