Hours Per Week: 6 hours per week during term time and 10 hours per week during non-term time.

Rate of Pay: £12.60 an hour (gross).

Location: Based in the community and employer’s home.

To work with our son who has Autism and epilepsy. Our son needs assistance and close supervision to access activities in the community and to access transport. We are looking for a suitable PA who can drive and have access to a car and support our son one evening a week and one day at the weekend to help with life skills outside of the home. (Hours may change during school holidays up to 10 hours per week).

We require a person who can provide this level of assistance that our son requires under our direction. The personal assistant must be reliable, punctual, honest, caring and kind. The person we will employ will have an understanding of the need for confidentiality in all areas of work including total respect for our privacy. Our son’s personal assistant must always supervise him, and always be aware of his vulnerability and his need to be kept safe.
