The Role
- Preparing client valuations and applications for payment
- Assisting with cost reporting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Supporting tendering and estimating activities
- Monitoring project costs and maintaining accurate commercial records
- Assisting with contract administration and subcontract management
- Supporting risk and opportunity assessments
- Providing commercial support to project delivery teams
- Ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and company procedures
About You
We're looking for someone who is motivated, eager to learn, and keen to build a long-term career within the construction industry. Ideally, you'll have:
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A Construction, Quantity Surveying or related qualification (HNC, HND, Degree, or equivalent) - desirable
- Previous experience working for a main contractor or within the construction industry is advantageous but not essential
