This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded relationship manager to join a dynamic team and play a pivotal role in enabling the successful delivery of flood and coastal risk management programmes. This strategic role is key to supporting Risk Management Authorities (RMAs) through expert guidance, commercial insight and strong partnerships, helping them navigate commercial frameworks and deliver impactful projects.
The Commercial Business Relationship Manager (CBRM) role currently sits within the Commercial and Framework Management (CaFM) team, part of the Portfolio Management, Assurance and Commercial (PMAC) directorate in Flood and Coastal Risk Management (FCRM). As part of an exciting period of change, the team is preparing to move into a new RMA-focused business unit, creating opportunities to help shape the future of our support to partners and stakeholders.
Working closely with Framework Managers, commercial specialists and RMAs, you will build strategic relationships, facilitate the use of frameworks and provide the advice, connections and support needed to help RMAs deliver successful flood and coastal risk management projects.
We would be open to assignment options with other Risk Management Authorities (local authorities, internal drainage boards and others) and other government bodies.
The team helps RMAs access and use frameworks to deliver flood and coastal risk management projects. Working closely with Framework Managers, commercial specialists, delivery partners and external stakeholders, we act as a central commercial interface, providing advice, guidance and connections needed to overcome barriers and achieve successful outcomes.
