Our client, a reputable family-run automotive garage in Leatherhead, Surrey, is seeking an experienced MOT Tester to join their dedicated team. The successful individual will be responsible for performing MOT tests on a range of vehicle types, including cars, motorbikes, mini buses, and vans, ensuring compliance with DVSA guidelines.
- Up to £40,000 basic salary, plus achievable bonus

- Sessional Saturdays on a rota basis to promote work-life balance
Duties of a MOT Tester
- Conduct MOT tests efficiently and with precision, adhering to DVSA standards
- Diagnose and report vehicle faults, offering professional advice to customers
- Complete all documentation accurately and promptly as a MOT Tester
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
Requirements of a MOT Tester
- Qualified MOT Tester with relevant certifications, such as NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
- Proven experience in conducting MOT tests and fault diagnosis
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work effectively under pressure
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach
- Full UK driving licence
