Join Our Team: Learning Support Assistant (ASD Centre, Chandlers Field Primary Academy)

Start Date: 01 September 2026

Weekly hours: 31.25 working 08:30 -15:15 Monday to Friday (30 minute unpaid break)

Salary: Surrey PS3 FTE £25,134 (actual annual salary for 31.25 hours £18,273)

What you will bring:

  • An understanding of how children learn and experience supporting pupils in a school setting.
  • Knowledge of the SEN Code of Practice and safeguarding procedures.
  • The ability to communicate effectively with staff, parents, and pupils.
  • A "can-do" attitude, a sense of humour, and the ability to use your initiative.
  • A commitment to meeting the needs of every child (a Level 3 Diploma in supporting teaching and learning is desirable but not essential).
