  • The Vacancy

An exciting SEN Learning and Progress Assistant vacancy has arisen at Queen Elizabeth's High School for a committed and compassionate individual to join our Learning Support team.

We are seeking someone who is passionate about removing barriers to learning and improving outcomes for students with SEND, SEMH needs, Pupil Premium status and other identified vulnerabilities.

This varied and rewarding role involves working closely with identified students, their families, teaching staff and external professionals to ensure every young person receives the support they need to achieve their full potential.

The successful candidate will build positive and trusting relationships with students and families, act as a key point of contact and contribute to the planning, delivery and monitoring of personalised support programmes.

Working in partnership with the SENDCo, pastoral staff and classroom teachers, you will help implement effective strategies and reasonable adjustments that enable students to succeed.

  • A good standard of education, including a minimum Level 3 qualification and Level 2 qualifications in English, Mathematics and Science.
  • The ability to use initiative, remain calm under pressure and seek positive solutions when supporting students and families.
